Kasturi Ram College of Higher Education Library is Air conditioned, computerized library with reading room and automated with KOHA Software.
The collection of library can include books, Novels, magazines, newspaper, periodicals, videos, audios, CDs and various other formats. Wide range of books are stored in a library and well organized in book shelves.
Library provides access to various books, materials, resources and digital media for research, information and knowledge. Libraries also provide services such as assistance in finding books of one’s interest which can be done with the help of librarian. Libraries are important for research, information, knowledge and pleasure of reading. Libraries provide perfect environment to enjoy read peacefully.
Circulation - Handles user accounts and the loaning/returning and shelving of materials.
Reference - Staffs a reference desk answering questions from users and provide questing related books and print material, instructing users, and developing library programming. Reference may be further broken down by user groups or materials.
Electronic Library - Responsible for providing information to users via E-Journal or E-book.
Technical Services - Works behind the scenes cataloging and processing new materials.
Stacks Maintenance - Re-shelves materials that have been returned to the library after patron use and shelves materials that have been processed by Technical Services. Stacks Maintenance also shelf reads the material in the stacks to ensure that it is in the correct library classification order.
